Samruddhi Mahila Samiti celebrated the auspicious festival of 'Teej' at NTPC Mouda Bal Bhavan. The event, held on August 31, featured lively traditional dances. The celebration began with a traditional welcome for all the attendees, who were dressed in bright green and magenta. Members of Samruddhi Mahila Samiti were greeted with kumkum and a suhaag kit, symbolizing good fortune and marital bliss.
The program commenced with a sacred deep prajwalan, followed by Shiv-Parvati pujan, the recitation of the Ganesh Atharvashirsh and Shiv-Parvati dance.
The 'Teej' evening was graced by Smt. Archana Saxena, AGM (HR-Tech), Smt. Vishwajeet Kaur, Spouse of DC-CISF, Smt. Anita Arora, Welfare Incharge, Samruddhi Mahila Samiti, Smt. HimaGauri Paranjape, Bal Bhavan Incharge, Smt. Anupama Singh Baghel, GS (Samruddhi Mahila Samiti) and all the members of Samruddhi Mahila Samiti and Bal Bhavan.
The highlight of the event was the 'Teej' contest, which consisted of four rounds and brought a thrilling mix of grace and beauty to the celebration. The winners were crowned with titles amidst applause and jubilation.
Adding to the festive fervor, the members engaged in Kajri songs and traditional dances. An exciting entrance game and surprise activities made the 'Teej' evening more special for all the members of Samruddhi Mahila Samiti and Bal Bhavan.
